9/4/25 Announcements

Today is the last day for MS Volleyball tryouts and cheerleading tryouts.

Attention Student Drivers:

The deadline to get your parking pass has been extended to the end of the day on Wednesday, September 3. To receive your pass, you must complete the required paperwork (available in the front office) and bring your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and the $40 fee. Parking passes will only be issued before school or after school, unless you have James Sprunt classes. Beginning Thursday, September 4, Officer Dyer will enforce parking rules and issue tickets to any vehicle without a valid pass.

Students who are enrolled in Journalism, please attend the first meeting in Ms. Smith’s classroom next Thursday (Sept 4th) during lunch. If you will not be able to attend this meeting, let Ms. Smith know as soon as possible.

School nurse reminders: Mrs. Amanda has sent letters to all 7th and 12th graders who need their required immunizations. Please go to your doctor, Goshen, or the Duplin County Health Department as soon as possible to get this done. The deadline is September 23rd. Students will be sent home on September 24th with an unexcused absence if this is not done. Turn your immunization record into Nurse Amanda, front office, or Homeroom teacher.

The Junior and Senior Beta Clubs are hosting a food drive for the month of September. All Beta Club members are encouraged to participate! Please drop non-perishible food items off with one of your Beta Club advisors to receive service hours.

Seniors if you have turned in your paper work please come by guidance to pick up your leave passes.

Students interested in joining the Duplin Agribusiness Academy can see Mrs. Ostheim or Mr. Woodard for an application.
