Join the FCA team and Pastor John Michaelson tomorrow morning (Wednesday, September 24) at 7:30 am 'BEFORE SCHOOL' for a fun time of devotion and prayer.

 

The Junior and Senior Beta Clubs are hosting a food drive for the month of September. All Beta Club members are encouraged to participate! Please drop non-perishible food items off with one of your Beta Club advisors to receive service hours. 

Juniors and Seniors: Are you curious about future careers and want real-world experience? Career Connections is your chance to job shadow professionals in fields that interest you. Applications are open September 15th through 30th. You can pick one up in the Guidance Office or from Mrs. Ostheim. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to explore your future! Whether you see yourself managing a farm, running a business, or exploring ag-related careers, this is the perfect place to start!

You'll gain real-world experience and hands-on learning, plus, we travel to different locations across the region to explore careers in agriculture and connect with industry professionals. Juniors, please return your CACRAO permission forms for the field trip to James Kenan High school to Mrs. Cruse and Mrs. Taylor by Oct 1st.  Many college representatives will attend this event and it will be a great way to connect and obtain information from them. (read through 9/24)

Juniors and Seniors, if you are interested in taking James Sprunt Classes in the Spring, please see Mrs. Taylor as soon as possible. 

Seniors, If you or your parent were not able to attend the senior parent meeting last week, please come by the counselor’s office this week to receive a folder with important senior information. (read thru Sept 23)

If any seniors plan to be an early graduate and you have not signed a form with Mrs. Cruse, please stop by to see her today. (read through Sept 23)

 

Lunch for Teachers will be served this Friday by Mrs. Summerlin’s homeroom. If you order for this month, they will be delivered before 11:00. Please have cash to pay that day.

 

North Duplin FFA Announcements:

 

Attention FFA Students,

 

Last week, Dalton Britt represented North Duplin FFA by interviewing for a position with the Federation officer team covering Duplin and Onslow County.  Dalton was selected as the Secretary and will be representing North Duplin as he works with 6 other students in the Longleaf Federation, to promote FFA and Agriculture. Wish him luck in his term.

 

Beginning September 22nd through October 1st, North Duplin FFA will be collecting money for a mum sale fundraiser.  Mums are expected to arrive around the second week of October, after all money is collected.  A Google form will be available to place an order, and money needs to be brought to Mr. Woodard in the Agriculture Building as soon as possible after submitting the form. 8-inch mums and 10-inch mums will be available to purchase in white, red, yellow, orange, and purple.  See Mr. Woodard, or a North Duplin FFA officer, for more information.

 

Visual ART Announcement: Attention students. We have been invited to participate in the Cameron Art Museum’s annual student art show. This competition is open to all high school students. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Frederick this week for more information. (Read through 9.25)
