10/22/24 Announcements

 

Attention all student drivers: If you haven't purchased your student parking pass yet and are driving to school, please do so as soon as possible. Parking is being enforced. Tickets have been issued and must be paid as soon as possible! 

(Everyday until removed)

 

Any Junior who would like to attend the CACRAO tour this Friday at James Kenan High School must submit a signed parent permission form. Juniors can see their homeroom teacher to receive a permission form. (Thru 10/23)

 

We will have a parent meeting for winter sports on Tuesday at 6:00 in the gym. Each coach will meet with their parents and players about the upcoming season. This is for middle and high school basketball and indoor track. 

North Duplin FFA is collecting new and gently used clothing, blankets, jackets, and other winter essentials to support the Town of Faison's effort to assist Old Fort in the North Carolina mountains. Donations can be dropped off in the Ag Classroom. North Duplin FCA will also  have donation bins at all remaining fall athletic events, conference tournaments, and this week’s FCA meeting. See the flier in Mrs. Loretta’s office for a full list of items. (Thru 10/31)

All high school Future Teacher Club members please check your email and reply to Ms. Albright as soon as possible regarding a visit to UNCW. 

 

Interested in engineering or one of the hands-on trades careers? The Industrial, Trade and Technology Academy is now accepting applications from 9th graders. Sign up on Ms. Ostheim’s door, Room 105. (Read thru 10/25)

 

Thanks to everyone who voted for the Spanish one 2-liter bottle projects.  The votes are in and a winner has been decided.  Congratulations to Ava Bradshaw, Keiz Brock, and Gabby Zamudio for winning the most votes for Cardi B.  who is an Afro Latina Rapper.  Congratulations to these students for winning a restaurant gift certificate.
