11/6/24 Announcements

At this time we would like to recognize the Rebel of the month.  In order to be recognized as the ND Rebel of the month students receive nominations from their teachers.  

This months recipients are:

7th Grade-Cristian Perez Roblero, his teacher said Cristian always comes to class with a positive attitude and a cheerful demeanor.  He works very hard during class and is willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates.

8th Grade - Valeria Zambrano, her teacher said has made a lot of growth this year! She is more focused, diligent in performing tasks, and stays ahead in her work. She participates and ask questions that are relevant and beneficial to the class.

9th Grade - Zayvon Dixon, his teacher said Zayvon is a joy to teach! He lightens the mood of the class, and makes everyone else better to his laughter, self deprecating jokes, enjoy!

10th Grade- Rodrigo Olivos Gutierrez, his teacher said Rodrigo has taken on the role of translator and helper to an ELL student in the class. from the teacher. He has been a great asset in the classroom, while also completing his own work.

11th Grade- Ivey Blizzard, her teacher said Ivey is a great student to have in class. She is consistent and reliable. She sets high standards for herself and works hard to maintain them. Not only is she extremely intelligent, but she is also creative and talented.

12th Grade- Luis Avilez, his teacher said Luis is an extremely hard worker, he excels both in the classroom and as an athlete. He is a pleasure to be around and always brings a positive attitude!

Our Staff Member Rebel of the month is Marybel Quintanilla.  Ms. Marybel is an asset to our school. She welcomes students, parents, and visitors with a big smile and always makes sure to meet the needs of those who come to North Duplin. Moreover, she treats everybody with respect and in a professional way. She is a great example of Rebel pride and spirit!!

 

James Sprunt Community College will be hosting a “Let’s Connect” event on Thursday, November 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm. For more information, see guidance or the guidance bulletin board in the front hall. (Please announce through November 14)

4th: MS students attending the Washington DC field trip should report to the media center
