5/1/25 Announcements

 

*2025 yearbooks are on sale now! They are pre order only! The deadline to order is May 16, but reserve yours today by going to www.yearbookordercenter.com. The code is 278. Look around campus for yearbook posters. You can scan the QR bar code, and it will take you directly to the site.

*There will be a meeting Thursday at 12:20 for any current 8th-11th graders interested in playing JV or Varsity football this upcoming season.  Meet in the field house.  (please announce through Thursday)

*Attention seniors in the Health Sciences Academy! Applications are now open for the 2025 HSA Senior Scholarship, worth $1,000. If you’re graduating in good standing, have completed your HSA pathway, and plan to pursue an associate or bachelor’s degree in a health sciences field—or one that leads to a health sciences career—you are encouraged to apply! 

Apply online through the Health Sciences Academy page on the DCS website, or contact Mrs. Jackson or Mrs. Wooten by email. Deadline to apply is Monday, May 5. 

Online applications for freshmen and sophomores interested in admission to the Health Sciences Academy are available on the DCS website or by contacting the health sciences teachers, guidance counselors, or kjackson@duplinschools.net. (please read 4/28-5/2) 

High School Cheerleading Try-outs will be May 13th-May 15th.  Must have Physical and Paid school insurance.  Mandatory parent meeting will be on May 6th at 7 PM in the media center.  To sign up for highschool cheerleading, go to the front office.
