Fleet Readiness Center East is looking for juniors and seniors who are interested in a PAID summer work experience supporting maintenance, repair, and overhaul of military aircraft. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about aviation maintenance, logistics, and depot operations while gaining mentorship and networking opportunities for future career aspirations with the federal government. See Mr. Wheeler or Ms. Ostheim for more information. (Read through Friday, February 14.)

Want to be North Duplin Jr./Sr. High School’s Spring Festival King or Queen? Here's how:

  1. Raise the most money by April 3rd.
  2. Pay a $5 entry fee.

The winner earns the title and $100! Students in grades 7-12 can participate. Stop by the office for a permission form and see Mrs. Marsha Quintanilla for questions! (Read through Feb. 7th)

Valentine's Day is coming up! Send some “kisses kindness” to a special friend, teacher, or coach. Beta members are selling candy grams for $2.00 each. See a club member if you are interested.

 

*2025 yearbooks are on sale now! They are preorder only! The deadline to order is May 16, but reserve yours today by going to www.yearbookordercenter.com. The code is 278. Look around campus for yearbook posters. You can scan the QR bar code, and it will take you directly to the site.

 

If any student in grades 7th-12th is in need of volunteer or service hours for a club please see Mrs. Marsha Quintanilla  for an opportunity to do face painting at the Faison Market Day parade on March 15th from 10:00am-4:00pm. (please read until February 28th or until enough I have enough volunteers) 

 

North Duplin’s FFA will host the annual North Duplin Chili Cook-off February 22nd! If interested in participating as a cook or volunteer for the event,please contact Ms. Watson via email or come by the Ag classroom. This year instead of just chili you can also prepare your favorite salsa! Be looking for more information on the North Duplin FFA Facebook page in the coming days. (please read until February 21st)

 

Congratulations to the North Duplin Junior Beta Club on the awards won this week at the NC Junior Beta Convention in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Congratulations to Ethan Brock for bringing home 5th place in the pottery competition and 5th place in the on-site drawing competition.  Congratulations to JT Wolfe on being the NC Junior Beta Champion in the Technology competition!  These young men have earned the opportunity to represent North Duplin Junior Senior in Orlando this summer at the National Junior Beta Convention.  We appreciate all you did to represent North Duplin so well this week!

 

Students attending the Washington DC field trip should stop by the library to pick up important trip information today.
