2/26/2025 Announcements

 

A BIG congratulations to all of the Beyond the Book Reading Showcase participants! The four entries that will be advancing to the district competition are: JT Wolfe, Santiago Kimes, Cristina Knowles and Cheyenne Griffin, and Alexis Simmmons. Congratulations!

 

Our middle school Washington DC trip is tomorrow! Students are reminded to report to the gym parking lot at 6am for departure. Please see Mrs. Laura if you have any questions!

 

*2025 yearbooks are on sale now! They are pre order only! The deadline to order is May 16, but reserve yours today by going to www.yearbookordercenter.com. The code is 278. Look around campus for yearbook posters. You can scan the QR bar code, and it will take you directly to the site.

 

Juniors and Seniors that would like to sign up for Summer classes at James Sprunt please come by guidance to sign up this week. 

 

Parent Night for 8th graders interested in attending the Duplin Early College High School will be held Monday, March 3rd at 6 pm at JSCC in the Boyette Building-Room 113.

 

Duplin Early College applications are due to Mrs. Cruse by March 10th.  Please see Mrs. Cruse if you would like assistance preparing for the interview. The interviews will be held March 17th.

Upcoming Club Meetings for this Week are:

(Teacher's, please make sure your club meeting is posted on the school club calendar BEFORE adding it to the announcements to ensure that club meetings do not overlap.)

 

2nd Period: Volunteers and FFA Officers for the Chili Cook Off will meet Thursday during 2nd period acceleration.

 

4th Period: High school Beta Club will meet this Thursday, February 27th, during 4th period acceleration. Attendance is required!!
