Tardy Policy

 

Tardy policy is designed by class period. Not cumulative. Tardies reset at the beginning of each semester.

 

1st- Teacher Warning- Document as a minor incident in Educator’s Handbook.

2nd- Teacher Warning- Document as a minor incident in Educator’s Handbook and make a parent contact.

3rd- One Day of ASD- Document as an office referral in Educator’s Handbook. List the dates of each tardy. 

4th- Two Days of ASD- Document as an office referral in Educator’s Handbook. List the dates of each tardy. 

5th and so on- Suspension Pending Parent Conference- Document as an office referral in Educator’s Handbook. List the dates of each tardy.

 

**1st period tardies will be recorded by the front office.  Teachers should record all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th period in the educator's handbook. 

 

**After the conference, any subsequent tardies and discipline will be recorded by the teacher in Educator's Handbook as an office referral and administration will assign discipline on a case-by-case basis.  

 

**Students that are tardy to school and drive will receive 2 warnings and a parent contact.  After the 2nd warning driving privileges will be revoked as outlined in the Penalties for Infraction table
